Disintegrating Carbon
I found my purpose through the challenges I faced and overcame.
My own path began in darkness. I endured serial torture at the hands of a sadist when I was a very young child, followed by my parents’ divorce after years marked by occasional homelessness and food scarcity, and then the death of my father — all before I turned twelve. Depression and anxiety were only part of the picture. I also battled severe scoliosis, a full spinal fusion from neck to tailbone, autoimmune issues, and undiagnosed Complex Post‑Traumatic Stress Disorder.
The darkness felt complete. I gave up many times and even tried to kill myself — but fate, God, the Universe, and my Soul conspired to save my life every time I tried.
I was not meant to die. I was meant to carry the light through the depths of horror and lead whoever could follow that glimmer out of the swamps they had also become embroiled within.
What saved me was the small community of adults who chose to love and support me despite my chaos and failures. And during those hardest years, I discovered my Soul and the presence of God’s love. I literally would not have made it without the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and those who knew him introducing us. If you’ve heard my story of demonic attack, you know I mean this literally. Without that experience of being saved from evil which spurred an unbreakable spiritual faith within me, I know that I would have never survived.
As the archetypal, personal and collective Hero’s Journey circumscribes for all of us, we must create the antidote for our own ailments by facing the darkest aspects of ourselves and the world. Once we create that antidote, we can offer the medicine to others. We return to the collective with the rewards of our struggles and, inevitably, many are those who require that which we had forged. The wounded healer archetype reflects this same truth: we are broken open, the light flows out from within us, the darkness is dispelled, and we become lighthouses, capable of guiding others toward their own regeneration and upliftment.
Only we can heal ourselves. No doctor, therapist, or spiritual healer — myself included — can do that work for another person. Others can support, guide, and illuminate the path, but the choice to heal and the courage to walk that path must come from within.
Because of what I survived, I understand the life‑shattering experience people bring to me. I am able to hold space for any horror or past darkness to emerge into the Light. I don’t flinch or turn away. I am able to help people reach toward the Light even when they’re sure there is no Light toward which to reach and, if there was, they could never do so. I am blessed to be able to guide people to the one thing that can never be destroyed: their Soul.
Because of that strength forged by repeated drops into the pits of hell, my eyes and heart now get to behold people transforming their minds, emotions, habits, and choices. I have the distinct pleasure of helping people create a life of true wealth: an abundance of spiritual awareness and connection, the greatest treasure any of us can cultivate.
This is how I became a Spiritual Healer, Teacher, Author, and Speaker, and how I have been able to turn torment and torture into true empowerment and triumph. My entire life has been a journey of finding better and better ways to help people help themselves into a higher Life, Light, and Love. My journey is proof that even my darkest of beginnings can be transmuted into stunning diamond.

Diamonds Emerge
Some principles within me have never been able to bend, even under serial physical torture and trauma. Foremost among them have remained Curiosity, Truth, Freedom, and Logic.
Curiosity has always guided me. I was raised to question anyone and anything, to seek my own evidence before drawing conclusions, and to remain open to changing my mind when new information emerged. This embedded curiosity has allowed me to continually expand into new possibilities while keeping my feet firmly on the ground. It has protected me from the slow death of rigid thinking and kept my mind alive, flexible, and awake.
Truth is essential to pure and high consciousness and the ability to act in alignment with your Soul. Knowing that truth matters more than social expectations or temporary discomfort makes it easier to stand against darkness, and to stand alone when necessary. Truth may seem variable and subjective to some, which is a failure of their own which they will eventually purify and overcome. If something is true, it is true now and it is true eternally. If you recognize this, you will realize there is only one true thing and it is not of the material world, but far beyond it, and that anything that echoes it or sympathetically vibrates with it is worth your attention.
Freedom has been my favorite word since I was first asked the question in childhood and it has never changed. My Soul came here knowing that our Freedom mattered deeply and was worth more than anything material. Likewise, I measure every choice against whether it infringes upon anyone’s natural, God‑given freedoms. If it does, it is wrong—no matter how loudly the world insists otherwise. We are free or we are nothing.
Logic also sharpens my discernment. Understanding the tricks that minds and emotions can play on us has been invaluable. Every human being is vulnerable to logical fallacies, confirmation bias, illusions of perception, and cognitive dissonance. When we recognize these built‑in vulnerabilities of the psyche, we can more easily see through our own distortions and delusions—of which we all have many. Logic is indispensable to the growth and evolution of both mind and soul. Logic, however, is subservient to Truth — which can often seem illogical.
These principles have guided and protected me time and time again.

A life of healing, clarity, and spiritual strength is available to anyone who chooses it.
